Small Groups
Enjoying a sense of community with other followers of Jesus is crucial to our spiritual health. One of the best ways to experience community with other followers of Jesus is through involving yourself in a small group. When times of trouble come (and they always do), it helps to have a group of people who lend support and encouragement. Our group names, times, and brief descriptions are listed below. We look forward to seeing you in a small group soon! [NOTE: All of our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening groups provide nursery care and children's programs for all ages.]
Sunday Morning Small Groups
Christian Builders: “It’s a great group…a diversity of ages and lifestyles makes for an interesting discussion… everyone cares about each other.” Stephanie Bohlmeyer-Morgan leads this coed group for all ages on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in our Sunday Café room. Hedraios (means “steadfast”): “I like the people—caring, sharing—a good group, and we are flexible.” This coed group meets each Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. in our library/conference room to enjoy fellowship and study of God’s Word… and they have their own coffee! Pathfinders: This small group is designed for those in the 18-30 age range and who are out of high school. This coed group is led by Josh Lundstedt on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in our fellowship hall. Call Josh at (402) 239-3900 or Facebook message him for more info.
Rise-N-Shine: “I enjoy the open atmosphere as we share what God is doing in our lives.” Clayton Lundstedt leads this coed group of mixed ages in the Legacy room at the back of our auditorium on Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. (and we have our own coffee bar!). Mid-Week Small Groups
The Chosen: This coed group is for all those interested in learning about the life of Jesus through “The Chosen” video series. Justin Shockley leads this group on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. in the couch room on our lower level. Call or text Justin at (402) 806-7250 for more info.
Bible Study 101: This group for women only is led by Rebecca Lundstedt and meets in the Doulos room at the back of our auditorium on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m. They study the Bible and learn how to dig deeper into the Word of God, developing Bible study habits, and starting to journal. "Iron Sharpens Iron" Men’s Group: Clayton Lundstedt leads this group of men for all ages designed to give all men that much-needed midweek spiritual boost. Overcomers: This group is for men and women of all ages and walks of life who crave to dig deep into the raw and real circumstances of life’s everyday challenges. Crystal Canfield leads this group on Wednesdays at 7:00 p.m., and they meet on our lower level in the “double door” room. W.I.L.D. (Women In Loving Discipleship): This group is for women who want to grow in their understanding of God’s call on their lives to be godly women. This group is led by Dina Scheele and Dena Kotinek and meets in the Legacy room at the back of our auditorium. Women’s Prayer Group: “I like meeting together with others close to the same age and seeing God answering our prayers.” This group of women meets on Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m. in our library/conference room for in-depth prayer. Sisters-in-Christ: “We have an encouraging and uplifting time together. Great study time and great fellowship time.” Martha McCarthy leads this group for women only on Tuesday mornings at 9:00 a.m. in our Sunday Café room.
